I need a bit longer than I have planned at the beginning because the lighting was really hard to make in this scene, because it is night and the Night Fury have a dark skin. I added more lights at the water which should simulate reflections.

I hope you like it. :)

The most 3D programs are very very expensive, I get them from my cousine who had the student versions. A free program is Blender. The other you must buy or download illegaly. ;)

I learned it from YouTube videos but mainly autodidactical.

I stop at the 1000$ one XD

oh god blender...not blender I already have it on my pc but I can't work for a damn with it. how long did it took you to learn it

The actual version of Cinema 4d R14 costs around 4,500 $ the student version only 1,000$. But I get it for free from my cousine. :D

I still use the R11.5 because I have much plugins for it.

I'am still learning, there are so much functions and controls that I've never used. I worked for around 15 month with these programs. In the first year it was just a small hobby but now I'am sure that this will be my occupation someday. :)

wow that is a lot, more than a heavy super computer
do you need a supercomputer for such a program? and 15 months
jeez it's getting worse and worse here

I'm not thinking of this as my job
I'd more like to start my own studio :lol: it will probably fail but I really wanna try!
